Continuing in our studies from John Thompson’s Modern Course For The Piano Second Grade Book, today’s lesson will cover Minuet from Don Giovanni on page 38. In today’s lesson we will discuss the following topics:

• Minuet song form

• Economy of movement

• Treble clef in the left hand

• Dotted 8th notes

• Alberti bass with pedal tones
