Song Of The Volga Boatman

Continuing in our lessons from Teaching Little Fingers To Play by John Thompson, this lesson introduces the next piece in the book, Song Of The Volga Boatman on page 13. This song is a Russian Folkdance. In this lesson we will discuss:

• Locating Middle C

• 4/4 time signature

• Dotted half note
