The Half Counts

This online flute lesson will cover lesson 16 from page 6 of Essential Elements For Band Flute Book 1. This lesson repeats the same rhythms from the previous lesson but this time notes are added.

• Practice counting, reading and playing half notes, quarter notes, and half rests

• Count and clap the rhythm with a metronome
