This online percussion lesson covers Lesson 6 on page 4B of Essential Elements For Band Percussion Book 1. In this lesson, students will practice playing single strokes in groupings of five on the snare drum using.

• Practice reading, counting and playing quarter notes and quarter rests

• Introduction of the five stroke roll
