In today’s online Tuba lesson, Dr. Sean Kennedy covers lesson 8 on page 5 of Essential Elements For Band Tuba Book 1. In this lesson, students will practice playing all the notes they’ve learned so far.

• Practice playing notes C, D, E flat and F

• Introduction of the repeat sign

• Practice counting and playing quarter notes and quarter rests with a metronome
