PERFORMANCE 9

This theory and voice lesson covers the Performance 9 lesson in Essential Musicianship. In this lesson students will learn about tempo, rit . and a tempo  and use repeat signs in a new song. They will sing it as a canon. Essential Musicianship (Essential Elements for Choir) is a comprehensive choral method including voice theory, sight-reading, and performance for middle and high school students.

• Define musical terms, tempo, ritardando and a tempo

• Practice singing with repeat signs and define a canon

• Sing “Joyfully Sing” as a canon with 3 parts in G
