Learn the basics of playing the Viola!

This is a beginning Viola course that is available with your Sessions Academy membership.

This lesson follows up the previous three variations found in O’Connor Method Book One. This variation introduces a new rhythm and the concept of neighbor tones to add complexity to the original.

• Key of D

• Quarter notes, eighth notes, and half notes

• Isolating the ending for changes

• Neighboring tones to F# and B

• Upper vs. lower neighbor tones

Take this course at your own pace, but practice daily. The more you practice the easier it will be to pick up the patterns.

You will need the O’Connor Viola Method Book 1 for this course.
