Sessions gives students access to video lessons, live group and distance training through their schools
YMA – YOUTH MUSIC & ARTS: Sessions new program launching in 2022 in New Mexico to reinforce music appreciation and live group lessons with underserved youth in and around Albuquerque. This program supports guitar, ukulele, piano, voice and art. City/state programs , shelters, churches and schools may refer students into YMA. Students may join in for free weekly lessons taking place in various public locations. Instruments are provided.
ACCESS VIDEO MUSIC LESSONS: Learn instruments with over 1,500 video lessons. We have added much of the Essential Elements Band and Strings method for students. Schedule a private lesson and attend interactive concerts online. While lessons may be classically based, Sessions hosts workshops where students learn recording, theory, jazz and the music business. middle and high school band, orchestra and choir lessons support relevant topics such as performance, competitions and All State preparation.
AFFORDABLE MEMBERSHIP LESSONS: Sessions Music Academy offers students 2 different membership that build on instrument lessons. They include our SchoolBeats Student and Private Lesson memberships. We offer private online instruction with all of our music teachers. Group webinar style classrooms give students creative and interactive music learning opportunities. On demand classes are the easiest way to learn. Videos are professionally recorded lessons that students can take at their own pace. Private lessons are the most hands-on way to learn music.
NEW – SESSIONS SPOTLIGHT: This is our new social media space. We have interviews with successful music teachers talking about their programs as well as original compositions and performances by middle and high school students. These may be seen on our Sessions YouTube Channel as well as Instagram, our blog and Facebook pages.
PRIVATE LESSONS WITH INSTRUCTOR: Find a convenient time during the day or evening with our instructors ONLINE. Learning is increased because students learn on their terms 24/7 – on mobile, computer and tablets. Private live lessons are reinforced with a membership to Sessions video lesson library including lessons in over 20 instruments.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS: SchoolBeats is our new school-based instruction membership. Built for classrooms, SchoolBeats has an expanded set of tools including shareable workshops and Essential Elements lessons. EEi training is available on our site. We are proud to have designed, under the directions of Hal Leonard Corporation, the only EEi (Essential Elements Interactive) training course on the internet. EEi Training Courses are available for both teachers as well as student versions and they are all FREE to take.
SCHOOLBEATS PREMIUM: Our new school membership. This membership was designed in response to school closures and schools wanting their students to have free Student Membership access for all their music students at Sessions. SchoolBeats Premium will also include other services directly relatable to middle and high school band, orchestra and choir programs. BOOK CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Includes discounts on bulk school book orders, a paid SchoolBeats membership, student scholarship program and PO and school billing available for books. This is a free membership for schools that order Hal Leonard materials through Sessions.
LIVE and ON-DEMAND WORKSHOPS: On-demand workshops are available in many music topics available to SchoolBeats students. Sessions instructors are available to coach music departments or sections to prepare for competition, concerts or instrument techniques. Call us to set up a workshop for your school or department.
