This online lesson covers Lesson 8 on page 5 of Essential Elements For Band Trumpet Book 1. In this lesson, students will practice playing all the notes they’ve learned so far and learn a new notation.

• Practice playing notes D, E, F and G

• New notation, the repeat sign

• Count and play quarter notes and quarter rests
