THEORY BUILDERS 10

This theory and voice lesson covers the Theory Builders 10 lesson in Essential Musicianship. In this lesson students will practice and learn how to read and write whole, half and quarter rests. Essential Musicianship (Essential Elements for Choir) is a comprehensive choral method including voice theory, sight-reading, and performance for middle and high school students.

• Compare timing of notes to equivalent rests

• Practice whole, half and quarter rests

• Define rests and how many beats they receive in 4/4 time
