Continuing in our studies from John Thompson’s Modern Course For The Piano First Grade Book, today’s lesson will cover A Spanish Fiesta on page 52. In today’s lesson we will discuss the following topics:

• New articulation: the tenuto marking

• Playing syncopated rhythms
