This online percussion lesson covers Lesson 4 on page 4B of Essential Elements For Band Percussion Book 1. In this lesson, students will practice playing single strokes on the snare drum using each hand.

• Practice reading, counting and playing quarter notes and quarter rests

• Practice playing four strokes in a row on each hand
