Nathan Secrest - Piano
Book a Private WorkshopNathan Secrest is the Pianist and Organist at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church. He has accompanied the choir and provided music for worship services since March of 2015. He graduated magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of New Mexico in spring of 2019. Currently, he studies piano performance in the graduate program at the University of New Mexico. At that institution, he holds a graduate assistantship position, accompanying other students and assisting in teaching. Nathan prefers to perform late classical and romantic music, particularly enjoying the works of Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin. Outside of classical music, he loves jazz, big band, and classical rock. His favorite groups include Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles. Nathan’s passion for music is rooted in his family, playing duets with his late grandmother and singing with friends and at family gatherings. He believes that music has a unique power to bring people together, open the heart, and uplift the soul. It connects us to our past, present, and future, influencing positive change in our world.
